How do I place an order?
If you would like an item we regularly carry in our store (standard cupcakes, cookies, cake truffles) we gladly accept phone orders. Please contact us at 908-879-3869.
For custom orders including custom cupcakes, decorated sugar cookies, rice cereal treats and custom cake truffles, please visit our shop at 57 Main Street, Chester, New Jersey. A 50% deposit is required at the time of placing your custom order.
Please keep the following timelines in mind when placing an order. All time frames listed below are minimums. To ensure availability of your preferred date, please place your orders as far in advance as possible.
Standard Cupcakes- 48 hours
Standard Cookies- 48 hours
Cake Truffles- 48 hours
All Cakes- 1-3 weeks depending on design
Custom Cupcakes- 1-3 weeks depending on design
Rice Cereal Treats- 1-3 weeks depending on design
Custom Decorated Sugar Cookies- 1-3 weeks depending on design
Custom Cake Truffles- 1-3 weeks depending on design
ALL changes to custom orders must be made 72 hours prior to pickup in order to ensure that we can accommodate your request.
Are there discounts for large orders?
There are discounts on items sold by the dozen.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is based on availability and subject to a fee of $1 per mile, roundtrip via GoogleMaps from 57 Main Street, Chester, NJ.
Do you have gift cards?
Sweet Spot Bake ShoppeGift Cards make fantastic gifts! Gift cards can be purchased in the denomination of your choice, with a $10 minimum.
Do you offer every flavor cupcake and cookie every day?
To keep things fresh and new, we will only offer select flavors each day. Please contact us at 908-879-3869 for today's flavors.
Help! I forgot my child’s birthday! What can I pick up from your store RIGHT NOW?
We will do our best to accommodate same day requests. If you’re looking for something to bring to his/her class, we have at least 20 types of cupcakes daily, as well as a wide array of cookies. We keep certain cupcake toppers on hand to add a festive touch to our cupcakes. Give us a call or stop in to see what we have available on the spot.
Are your items allergy-free?
While not all items contain nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, etc. we use these items in our daily baking and cannot guarantee that your product did not come in contact with them. We apologize that we cannot accommodate your allergy-free requests at this time.
How long will my baked goods stay fresh?
We do not add any preservatives to our baked goods. We suggest you consume all products within 24-48 hours of purchase. If you do not consume our treats the day they are purchased, we suggest removing them from their box or bag and storing them in an airtight container.
Do you offer parties/classes?
Due to space limitation at the shop, we do not currently offer classes or parties in our Chester, NJ shop. We do however, host classes and parties at local schools or in private homes. We bring cupcakes or sugar cookies, icing and decorations and teach a one hour class at the location of your choice. Classes/Parties are offered for 8th grade and younger. What company will deliver my purchase?
We use both USPS and UPS Ground.
When will I get my purchase?
To ensure you are receiving the freshest products and they do not sit on a truck or in a storage facility over the weekend, we ship perishable items on Tuesdays and Wednesday ONLY. Orders must be placed by Saturday at 6pm to go out that week. Orders placed after 6pm on Saturday will ship the following Tuesday/Wednesday. Non-perishable items (candles, Cupcake Club Memberships, Gift Cards etc) ship within 2 business days of purchase.
Do you ship your cupcakes?
Unfortunately we are unable to ship cupcakes. Please visit us in our Chester, NJ store to purchase cupcakes.
Return Policy:
The Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe stands behind our fresh baked goods. Once your order leaves our bakery, delivery is dependent on our carriers. Refunds will not be given for shipping delays including, but not limited to, weather conditions, package refusal or incomplete/ incorrect shipping information. If for some reason your order does not meet your satisfaction, please contact us at info@sweetspotbakeshoppe.comor 908-879-3869. We cannot refund or exchange any baked goods, gift cards and/or Cupcake Club Memberships.
